As people know, right now the FFXI servers are down b/c of the earthquake. (here for the news) I'm planning on prolly donating April's fee to charity..

But right now playing Secret of Mana (if anyone wants to join me in that, it's available for the ipod touch as well as some..mmm. Not so legit sources). I also hang on irc, try hunting me in irc.esper.net channel #ffradio if anyone wants to chat. I'll post my IMs here too for the same reason if anyone wants'em ^^

Not seen Pyro on PSN for a few days, gah!

Given the energy crisis Japan is currently suffering, I don't think we can expect to hear from Ammy for quite some time.

The Japanese energy companies are currently rotating forced blackouts around certain areas over small time intervals in an attempt to balance energy consumption. The companies are also requesting that people reduce their personnal energy consumption to a bare minimum, so I doubt she will be using her computer.

On the off chance that she does use it, we then have the fact that some areas are suffering a disconnection from, or problems with their internet connection.

I, along with all of us, obviously hope Ammy is ok and she will be in all our thoughts I'm sure. However, getting in contact with us is probably relatively low on her list of priorities, especially if she was in a critically affected area.

Anyway, I hope everyone keeps in touch over the break (which may last longer than a week), use the time to be thankful of what you have and get out and enjoy life! Go and catch up with friends, try something new, get work done, read books, and appreciate the world outside of FFXI.

I look forward to seeing everyone back in game after the break, let's go kill shit when we all get back!

I suspect it'll be a month at least before the servers are back up. Japan is going to be in a mess for a long time :-(

Unfortunately Pyro's only means of contacting Ammy are via internet, he doesn't have her phone number or anything =(
